Obituary of Willard Gray
Our beloved brother is resting in peace. Willard was born June 13, 1952 in Dubach (Unionville) Louisiana, and fell asleep January 19, 2015. Willard attended L. G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, Texas, where he was nominated as best dressed in his class. His parents, Willie Lee Gray and Jewel Lee Gray, preceded him in death.
Willard confessed his life to Christ at an early age and united with the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the pasturage of the late Rev. W. J. Shackelford. Two brothers, Willie Lee Gray, Jr. and Larry James Gray also precedes Willard in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Daughter Chasity Gray; Son Antoine McCoy and two grandchildren, six sisters, Lula Bell Powell (David) of Dubach, Louisiana, Jacqueline Gray, Cynthia Colbert (Donald), Brenda Love (Rodney), Sharon Dyer, Carla Dennis (Patrick) and one brother, Kermit Wayne Gray (Maggie), all of Dallas, Texas. He leaves to cherish also a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
