Obituary of Daniel Johnson Daniel Ray Johnson was born on September 21, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, to the parentage of John Felton and Keither Johnson. He received his formal education in public schools and graduated from David W. Carter High School in Dallas, Texas. Daniel served in the U.S. Army and in the National Guard. He started his civilian career as an independent truck driver, along with his older brother, John Jr. (Stud). He later changed careers and was employed by C.P.S. Security Systems. Daniel Ray Johnson was called home on December 19, 2014. Preceding him in death are his brother, John Johnson Jr.; sister, Queenie Agers; and special friend, Leo Overshown. He leaves to lament in his passing and celebrate in his homecoming, the love of his life, Doris Kelly (DJ), SheRita Jackson and Kenneth Kelly Jr. (JR), all of whom worshipped and love him dearly; his parents, John F. and Keither Johnson; four sisters, Johnnie Barnette (Bennie), Trudie Edmond (Louis), Sue Harvey (Jimmie), and Debra Smallwood; one brother, Lonnie Johnson (Lump); a very special friend, Larry Overshown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
