Obituary of Joseph Cooper Joseph Cleveland Cooper was born November 2, 1924 in Dallas, Texas to the parents of the late Curtis Cooper and Jane Bluitt. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. He enlisted in the Army of the United States. Afterwards, he attended Wylie College. He was brother to seven brothers and 1 sister: Curtis, Jr., James, Lynnwood, John Arthur, Charles are known Deceased. Timothy, Phillip and Betty are known living siblings. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Cooper of 54 years. He was father to four children: Billy Joe Cooper, Sr. (Darlene); Children: Bridgette Cooper, Michelle Cooper Finley, Michael Cooper and Billy Joe Cooper, Jr.}, Jacqueline Jones Children: Venisa Jones, Johnny Jones, Clemon Jones, Denise Clayton (Eric Clayton, Sr.); Children: Joseph C. Clayton, Eric K. Clayton II, Candace Clayton, and Erika Desina Love; and Nancy Hall (Carlton Hall); Children: James D. Hall, Jennifer D. Hall-Wright, Jasimin D. Hall. Joseph Cooper was a host to fourteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and 2 great, great children. He leaves his memories to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. After retiring from Eastman Kodak, Joseph Cooper became a full-time income tax, notary, and bookkeeping service. He was active in the community. He dedicated his time to friends, family and community.
