Richard Allen Taylor was born March 11, 1967, in Fort Braggs, North Carolina, to Graddy Stern and Charlotte Johnson. His family relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he attended T.D. Marshall Elementary School, Boude Storey Junior High School and was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He loved church and was an active and faithful member of Mt. Rose Church under the leadership of Bishop Jeffrey D. Thomas, Sr. Richard worked in corporate America for over 40 years.
Richard enjoyed life with style and grace. He had a kindred, flamboyant, energetic, vibrant spirit and was an all-around nice person. His memorable life will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Charlotte Johnson and stepfather, Bobby Johnson; son JaCorey Taylor; brother, Bruce Beaty (Marissa); sisters, Charlene Beaty and Sharon Beaty, all of Dallas, Texas; nieces and nephews: Ashley Beaty, Aisha Beaty, Tierra Crain, Halle Upman (Kyle), Wendell East, Jr. and Allen East; great-uncle to three nieces and two nephews; special aunts, Deborah Padilla and Claudette Taylor; special cousins, Ursula Smith (Maurice) and Kim Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
