Obituary of Marlon Arnold
Marlon Dorsay Arnold was born June 14, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to A.D Arnold Sr. and Gloria Dean Arnold-McKensie. Sea Dog, Big A and Big Marlon as he was so affectionately known by all, departed on Thursday, May 22, 2014 after battling an extended illness.
Marlon attended school in the Dallas Independent School District. He later met and married Karen Green, on October 2, 1975. To this union there were two sons, Marlon Dorsay Mitchell and Anthony Dorsett Arnold.
He lived in Dallas for most of his adult life and was employed by The Ball Park in Arlington, Texas. Later he moved to Tennessee, in 2007 and was employed by Eurest Cleaning Service.
Marlon leaves to cherish his memories: Marilyn Kay Sullemon (wife); mother, Gloria Arnold McKensie; brother, A.D. Arnold Jr. (Sandra) and sister, Dena Arnold; Two Sons, Marlon Mitchell, and Anthony Arnold; four grandchildren – Kayla, Priscilla, and Isabella Arnold and Marlon Mitchell Jr.; three nieces – Tenika Arnold-Jackson, LaToya Turner and Jenee Arnold; six nephews – Anthony (Tony) Arnold, A.D. Arnold III, Brian Fabian II, Julian Fabian, Marcus Barnes and Justin Arnold; a very special friend, Tammi Timmons and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and endearing friends.
