Obituary of Robert Earl Haynes

Obituary of Robert Haynes Robert Earl Haynes was born to the parentage of J.S. and Emma Jean Haynes on March 17, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. He attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968. Robert was very active in the R.O.T.C. Program and was a member of the Black Knights Drill Team. He enjoyed attending Class Reunions and actively participated in various activities and functions sponsored by the Graduating Class of 1968. He was very active and held the position of Treasurer for the organization. He attended El Centro majoring in drafting and Design. Completing and AA Degree. He received an Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1970. He was employed with Black and Veatch for 35 years as a draftsman. Robert was a true man of God and a Lifetime member of Porter Temple C.M.E… He was a very faithful worker for God. He was a Part of the Finance Committee. A steward/deacon, Men of Men's Group, Treasurer to the Lay Council. He also enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts as the Assistant Scoutmaster for the churches youth. Wherever the need, there was Robert. If you needed someone to hold onto your money for safekeeping He was your best option over any banking institution. He passed away May 16, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents. Robert leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life: one brother, John Haynes and wife Joyce, 2 nieces that he was extremely proud and fond of, Tracey and Krystle Haynes all of Dallas, Texas. Also a host of relative and friends and the 442 (car).
