Obituary of Carol Turner
Carol Ann Williams Turner was born April 03,1953 to O.T. Williams Sr. and Ethel (Ola) Williams in Shreveport,Louisiana. She was the first child of 5 siblings.
She graduated from highschool in 1971 from North Dallas Highschool in Dallas, Tx.
In 1970,she united in marriage to first husband Stanley Pleasant. They were blessed with a son Kelvin B.Pleasant,oldest sibling to Derrick D.Pleasant and Tymisha R. Pleasant. Carol remarried in 1987 to Carver D.Turner whom in which she is preceding in death. She attended Allstate Business College and El Centro Community College and earned a degree while working for Xerox Company. In 1985 Carol began a career with the United Postal Service (Bulk Mail Center) , working faithfully for 29yrs until her health began to fail,she. was 1yr of retiring and too determined to pull out. " I Want All Mine" …. Mrs.Turner
Carol lived a life full of fun,joy,and entertainment during her earlier years.She was always one to speak her mind and give advice.She will be greatly missed by all that ever knew her.
She was preceded in death by her farther in (2001),her mother in (2012),and brother in (2011) .Grandparents Foster Jackson Sr. and Ruby Birdsong Jackson. (1991 & 1995 )
Carol leaves to cherish her loving memory her two sons… Kelvin B.Pleasant of (Fayetteville,Nc.) Derrick D.Pleasant of (Dallas,Tx) and daughter Tymisha R.Pleasant of (Dallas, Tx) .
Two Sisters: Deborah Proctor of (West Covina,Ca) Angela Terrell of (Garland, Tx). One brother: Terry Glen Williams of ( Dallas,Tx)
Grandchildren: Kanetra Pleasant, Brittany Pleasant, Krystal Wofford of ( Dallas,Tx) and Z'kaveon D.Pleasant of (Dallas,Tx) Three Aunts : Dollce Jackson Coleman. and Doris Jackson Lee of ( Shreveport, La.) and Carol Jackson Lynch of ( Keithville,La.) One Uncle: Daniel Jackson of (Dallas,Tx). One Daughter In law: Ertha Pleasant of (Fayetteville, NC.) and many nieces, nephews,relatives and friends.
