Obituary of Willie Foster On March 17, 2014, the Angel of Death touched and sealed the lips of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Willie Rogest Foster, Sr. But, in that same touch, the Angel of Peace led him to higher grounds where he will forever be at rest in the Lord. Willie Foster was born to the parentage of Jessie and Jerry Foster on June 30, 1950, in Streetman, Texas, and graduated from Jackson High School in Corsicana, Texas. After moving to Dallas, Willie worked as a Supervisor at Allright Parking Systems, retiring after more than 25 years of service. He soon met and married Barbara Manning and to this union, Willie, Jr. and Tonya Foster were born. Willie and his family united with Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Willie is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Annie Mae Foster, Anna Ester Frazier, James Troy Foster, James Earl Foster, and Jerry Foster. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 44 years, Barbara Foster; son, Willie Foster, Jr.; daughter, Tonya Foster; step-children, Lindora Davis, Michael Manning, Kenneth Manning, and Tony Manning; grandchildren, Kennedi and Parker Foster and Devan and Christian Hopkins; sisters, Mattie Foster, Jessie Govan (Roger), Ada Foster, and Annie Foster (Charles); brothers, Eshmun Foster (Felicia), Roy C. Foster (Ruthie), Travis Gould, and Charles Troy McCoy; a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
