Obituary of Alberta Elkins Alberta Criselee Elkins was born in Snyder, Oklahoma, on April 12, 1939 to the parentage of James Albert and Louise Fisher Smith. She received her education in the Synder, Oklahoma public schools. She united in Holy Matrimony with Fred Lee Elkins, and to this union, 8 children were born. Alberta loved life and she loved to collect angels. Her smile was infectious and her personality filled with passion and vibrancy. Those who were close to Alberta were touched by her loving spirit and thoughtfulness. Knowing Alberta helped you understand that it is the quality of one's existence that far exceeds the quantity of time lived. Her loving smile brought so much joy to everyone. Even in illness, her loving kindness reminded us of the preciousness of life. Albert Criselee Elkins memorable life will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Alberta granted her angel wings on June 16, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Ida D. Smith and Bobbie Steel, brothers, Jimmie Claude Smith, Ronnie C. Smith and Clyde Henry O'Neal Smith. She leaves to cherish her loving memories, four daughters, Barbara (Juan) Reyna, Shirl Elkins, Genevia Traylor and LaDonna Lilly, four sons, Kenneth Elkins, Fred Elkins, James Elkins and Edward Elkins, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, four sisters, Margie Tennison, Georgia Steele, Christine Ross and Lilly Jean Baker Jones, three brothers, Thaddeus Smith, Alvin Smith and Larry Smith, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
