Obituary of Eva Maloney Eva Jean Hare Maloney was born to Nathaniel and Jewel Hare on August 15, 1942, in Dallas, Texas. She was the youngest of four children born to this union. She began her formal education in the Dallas Public Schools System and graduated from James Madison High School. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age, where she was a member and baptized at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. A.L. Schley. She later in her adult life moved her membership to Good Street Missionary Baptist Church, Dallas, TX, where she continued her spiritual growth and served as a deaconess and was a faithful devoted member for many years. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for over 30 years until her retirement. In 1963, She united in marriage to Hubert Lee Maloney, to this union two children was born; Ronald DeWayne and Valencia Revette. Eva was a beloved wife, mother, sister. Aunt and friend. She loved her husband and children dearly. She also loved and enjoyed her four grandchildren and adored her two great-grandchildren. Eva decided that it was time for her journey home and departed this life peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2013 and was escorted by the angels to her new divine residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Jewel Hare, James Hudson Hare (brother) and Thelma Louise Steed (sister). She leaves to cherish her most joyful memories: husband of 50 years, Hubert Lee Maloney, one son, Ronald DeWayne Maloney, one daughter, Valencia Revette Maloney, one brother, Nathaniel Hare (Geneva), sister-in-law, Felicia Hare, brother-in-law, Frank Maloney (Helen), four grandchildren, Brandon Robinson, Shontrice Rabago (Jorge), Kendrick Robinson and Rhonda Maloney, two great-granddaughters, Naryah and Saniyah. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and dear friends. She also leaves to cherish memories of a lifetime with her friends of 50+ years, Gloria Smith, Richard Smith, Betty Deming, Richard Deming, Doll Baby McDowell, Marjean Barrett, Minnie Bell Pearce (deceased) and Joyce Ann Chaplin (deceased).
