Obituary of Sheila Maurice Sheila Joyce Maurice, born in Trinidad, West Indes to Henrietta Louvenia Ayers and Adolphus Cummings. She migrated to Dallas 15 years which during that time she travelled numerous times back to Trinidad and to Canada to visit her family. She attended school in New Grant Princess Town. While living in Trinidad she was an active member of her church. Sheila was first introduced to Greater Emmanuel Baptist Church by her dear devoted friend Helen McCullum were she became a faithful member and served as a Deaconess, she loved her church family dearly. Helen would pick her up every Sunday for services and would take her wherever she needed to go. Her smile was infectious and her personality filled with passion and vibrancy. Those who were close to Sheila were touched by her loving spirit and thoughtfulness. Knowing Sheila helped you understand that it is the quality of one's existence that far exceeds the quantity of time lived. Her loving smile brought so much joy to everyone. Even in illness, her loving kindness reminded us of the preciousness of life. Sheila Joyce Maurice's memorable life will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Sheila was preceded in death by her two sisters, May and Ruby and 3 brothers. She leaves in bereavement: Her two daughters and one son Joan, Judy and Bryan. Her sister Estell, two nephews, Leroy and Glen; three nieces, Jemma, Olive and Joy, eight grandchildren, Andy, Brian, Jennifer, Ashley, Sheldon, Kamille, Emlye and Layla, four great grand children. Special family and friends: John, Violet, Neville, Glenda, Elsa, Myrtle, Barbara, Audrey, Shirley, Vera, Angie, Monica and Henry. Her Greater Emmanuel Family and a host of other relatives and friends.
