Obituary of Nora Williams
Nora Mae Seamster Williams Taylor was born October 15, 1949, to the parentage of Mr. Louis Thomas Seamster and Mrs. Odessa Jackson Seamster in Shreveport, Louisiana. She shared the love of her parents with five brothers and two sisters.
Nora was raised and educated in Dallas, Texas graduating from James Madison High School in 1967(Home of the Mighty Trojans). In high school she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined the People's Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late great Rev. Dr. S.M. Wright Sr. In 2001 she united with the Right Way Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Kevin Bush, serving as an usher. When Nora was a young girl she met Mr. John Henry Williams, they fell in love and were married June 23, 1970. No children were born to this union, yet she was a loving devoted aunt to all her nieces and nephews. (She was well known as Aunt Nora). On January 22, 1999 Nora married Mr. Reginald Delaine Taylor. They were devoted to one another, until his untimely death February 24, 2008.
Nora was employed at Methodist Hospital. She was a loving person who touched the lives of many people. Nora Taylor was preceded in death by her husband Reginald Taylor, parents, Louis T. and Odessa Seamster, sister Arestine Gipson, (2) brothers, Donald N. Seamster and Gary Von Seamster.
She leaves to cherish sweet memories: 3 brothers, James Lee Seamster, Floyd Seamster, Louis Thomas Seamster Jr. *Laverne), 1 sister, Oneatha Seamster Ray all of Dallas, Texas. 1 uncle, Elester Seamster, Mother-in-law, Oretha Taylor, sis-in-law, Ramona Taylor, 2 brother-in-laws, Ricky Taylor and James L. Gipson. 5 stepchildren, Rendal Lee Whits, Keldrick and Keilon Barron, Kamesha and K. Frances M. Barron. Aunt Nora will also be dearly missed by her two Special Great grandnieces Aniyah and Nephew, Kayne and a host of other relatives and friends.
