Obituary of Stephen Smith
Stephen Richard Smith, 59, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Tulsa, OK. Stephen was born in Muskogee, OK to Joshua & Bernice Smith, April 16, 1953. He was a 1971 graduate of I. M. Terrell High School in Ft. Worth, TX and a 1974 graduate of the University of Houston. Stephen was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, TX, where he served in the Kitchen Ministry. He was employed by AT&T Services in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Joshua S. Smith. Left to rejoice in the life he led: wife of 23 years, Carolyn; two daughters, Stephanie (Armand) Warfield of Carrollton; Taylor D. Smith of Arlington; mother, Bernice Smith of Arlington; two brothers, Joshua (Pam) Smith of Burleson; Rev. A. Roy (Jackie) Smith of Grand Prairie; sister, Zolita Singletary of Arlington. Also cherishing his memory are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws & friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 19th, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 5415 Matlock Rd, Arlington, TX Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, TX.
