Obituary of Joe Davis Joe Servia Davis, age 82 of Cedar Hill, Tx, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2012 . Born in Frankston, Tx, Joe was preceded in death by parents Menson and Lena Davis, along with his son Joe Servia Davis Jr. Joe attended Frankston ISD schools where he gained the training that would later assist him in becoming one of Dallas's most prominently successful entrepreneurs. He proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1952-1954. Joe was best friends and married to Yolanda Riggs-Davis of Cedar Hill, Tx. He worked as a hospitality specialist for 24 years at Brook Hollow Country Club of Dallas, Tx. Joe then went on to work in private homes hospitality for David Monach, prior to partnering with William "Bill" Frazier to open Dallas's well known Kliff Klub, and B&J Wholesale. Joe was a member of the Masonic fraternity and held membership since 1980 with the King Solomon Lodge 514 of Dallas,Tx. He is survived by his wife Yolanda Riggs-Davis, his daughter's Laverne Barker, Yolanda Melton, and Regina Davis Wynne, of Dallas, Tx. His son's Brandon Riggs, and Kenneth Stinson. Service Arrangements will begin with a wake on Wednesday, May 9th from 7-8 p.m. followed by a funeral service Thursday, May 10th at 11 a.m., both will be held at Black & Clark Funeral Home Chapel-2517 E.
