Obituary of Kathryn Williams Howlett

Please share a memory of Kathryn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathryn Williams Howlett was born August 21st 1935 to Dellie & Viola Williams in Waco, Texas. She was one of eleven siblings having been proceeded in death by four sisters and three brothers. A remarkable blessing allowed her to be married to her husband, Franklin Howlett for over 62 years. They were high school sweethearts and met at Waco Moore High School. They share one daughter, Cynthia Howlett (Michael Brown) of Dallas, TX, one Granddaughter, Amy Moyé Owusu (John Owusu), and two great-granddaughters Jordan & Amina Owusu of Washington D.C. She also leaves to cherish her memories a sister, Sallie Smith and brother, Harvey Willams, both of Los Angeles, CA and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones. Kathryn worked at Texas Instruments, where she retired after 35 years of service. While she enjoyed her work and the many friends she made along the way, her pride and joy was her close knit family and nothing made her happier than to have everyone together. Dearie, Mother, Grandma, Nana your love of life, open heart, and ability to make all feel loved will never be forgotten. You thought us how to never accept good fortune as luck, but as a blessing and the result of perseverance and hard work. The lessons you taught us will be passed on through our many generations to come.
