Obituary of James Otis MEATLESS"" Harrison

James Otis Harrison was born on August 23, 1951, in Dallas, Texas. He was the first born to Anna Craft Harrison and the late Arbin Harrison. James accepted Christ at an early age at Bethany Baptist Church. He graduated in 1969 from L.G. Pinkston High School, home of the almighty Vikings. James was united in holy matrimony on June 4, 1977, to Edna Cage Harrison for over 41 years. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan; his favorite colors were black and gold. James was preceded in death by his father, Arbin Harrison; two brothers, David and Johnny Harrison; and one sister, Peggy Ann Harrison. Left to cherish the precious and wonderful memories of his life are his mother, Anna Harrison; wife, Edna Quinette; four children, Keenon (April) Cage, LaToya Jefferies Wells, JameKa Harrison, and James O. Harrison II; eight grandchildren, Vennyce and Joseph Serna, Khannea Mandy Cage, Arnasia Rose Harrison, Ayrulan Anniebel Moore, and NaKia, LaKira and DeSean Wells; one great-grandchild, Nylah Mae Williams; two brothers, Arbin (Pat) and Mitchell; one sister, Pamela Harrison; two aunts, Lois and Helen; two uncles, Robert Craft and Charles Green; and a host of other relatives and friends.
