Obituary of Donia Osborne
Donia Joe Osborne wife of the lat Vivian "Rux" Osborne and beloved mother of Ann Osborne Francis passed away July 16, 2011. She was born June 19, 1915 in Jonesboro, Louisiana to the family of Dave and Retta Birdo Joe and her sister, Ordee. She married her late husband on March 8, 1930 and to this union one daughter was born. Donia moved to Dallas, Texas with her husband and daughter in 1939 where she later became co-owner and chef of Osborne's Café until her retirement in 1965. She is survived by her daughter Ann Osborne Francis and son-in-law, James R. Francis, DeSoto, TX; grand-daughter, Cheryl Ann Francis of Dallas, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Black and Clark Funeral Chapel-2517 E. Illinois Avenue-Dallas, Texas
Interment: Lincoln Memorial Park-Dallas, Texas
