Obituary of McArthur Brown Dr. MacArthur Brown passed away July 11, 2011 in Dallas, Texas . MacArthur Brown was born in the Upshur County Community in East Texas on January 25, 1943. His parents, the late Robert and Beida Carter Brown settled in the community and worked very faithfully and entirely to provide a loving, caring and spiritual atmosphere for their five children. MacArthur began to grow spiritually and united with the Lake Providence Baptist Church where he remained a faithful member. He kept the faith because he had a vision. MacArthur continued to excel and completed his education at Valley View High in 1960. Because of his love for mankind, Mac became a Dentist. He became known as the "pain-free Dentist". Dr. Brown worked faithfully until Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He enjoyed talking about the days of his youth and his past and how he accomplished his goals. Dr. Brown always had words of wisdom and encouragement. He will be missed by his many patients and all who loves him. Dr. Brown loved the Lord. He and his family united with the New Life Fellowship church and served faithfully until his health began to fail. He served as financial planner. He also joined the mail chorus. This was really a treat for him and he enjoyed every moment. He is singing in the Heavenly choir. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, wife- Dora Joyce Brown; three children; Paul Brown (Sylvia), Euless, TX, Pamela Brown, Perry Brown (Victoria), Houston, TX 2 brothers: Willie Lee Brown-Longview, TX, Herman Brown- Dallas, TX 8 Grandchildren: Dorenda, Jordan, Angelique, Kierstin, Kieden, Kyerin, Madison and Miles Brown. 1 great-grandchild: Natalylnn Polanco. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and an abundance of friends.
