Obituary of Edwin Jordan On March 2, 1946, Arthur and Alice Jordan were blessed with the birth of twin sons; Edwin being the eldest was a joy to their hearts. Edwin was educated in Dallas Public Schools. In March of 1978, he united in Holy Matrimony to the former Mary Williams. He was a truck driver for over twenty years being employed with Robert Heath Trucking Co. He was a member of Community Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Edwin loved life; he was a very loving, open hearted, quiet spoken man. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Willie Solomon and seven siblings. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, a loving and devoted wife, Mary Williams Jordan; beautiful children, Phyllis, Pink, LaShawn, Chris, Benjamin and Sheniqua; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, three devoted brothers, Edward (his twin), Arthur Jr., and Larry; five caring sisters, Helen, Erma, Joyce, Shirley and Tommie; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins Wake: 7-9pm, Thursday, July 14, 2011 Funeral Service: 12pm., Friday, July 15, 2011 both at Black and Clark Funeral Home Chapel 2517 E. Illinois Avenue-Dallas, Texas 75216 Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery-Dallas, Texas
