As tragic of an event Cornelius' death is, I have found much comfort from a few thoughts. The Bible states that Jehovah God has ?a yearning??an earnest longing and desire?to resurrect the dead. (Job 14:14, 15) How glad we can be that not only is Jehovah able to bring a person back to life but he also wants to do it! Soon there will be no sickness and death will be no more (Revelation 21:3, 4). Until then my prayers and sympathy go out to the family. I earnestly hope this provides comfort in your time of distress.
