Walter Leon Carter was born July 1, 1951 to the parentage of Mary and George carter in Dallas, Texas. Walter received his special education from the Dallas Independent School District.
He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. Walter along with his parents joined Good Street Baptist Church in 1970 under the leadership of the late Dr. C.A.W. Clark were they loved. Walter was a very active and faithful member serving as a member of the teenage choir, and the Special People’s Ministry. Walter loved his church and participated in the services with such joy. Walter loved to drink coffee and enjoyed watching westerns. He had a zest for life and loved his family, his church and others. His smile was infectious and his personality filled with passion and vibrancy. Those who were close to Walter were touched by his loving spirit.
Our heavenly Father released Walter to receive eternal life on March 2, 2018. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. The celebration of his life continues with his two devoted sister; Mary Dell Terry, Dallas, Texas and Connie Roberson (Robert), Waxahachie, Texas, on niece, Kimberly Montgomery, Dallas, Texas, one nephew, Kessler Roberson (Misty), Arlington, Texas; two great nieces, Mahogany Montgomery, Carmella Capel; two great nephews, Justin Montgomery and Jesse Montgomery, one great great nephew, Devon Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
