Velva Estine Sanders "DEAR" passed away February 13, 2011 in Lancaster, Texas
She was born June 18, 1920 in Dallas, TX to the late Roy and Sally Dennis-Glasgow.
She was a licensed hairstylist and she also, had a home daycare.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughters, Velva Slider and Loretta Sanders Boyd Holoman (Charles); son, Andrew Jackson Slider Jr.; one stepdaughter, Brenda Jenkins (Nathaniel); one stepson, Art Reynolds, granddaughter, Tamar Slider; grandson, Thelan Boyd (April); great grandkids, Ayshton, Cortlan and Faith; niece, Patricia Ellis (Bill) of Sedona, Arizona and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: 11:30AM, Thursday, February 17, 2011, Greater Emanuel BaptistChurch-2010 E. 11th Street, Dallas, Texas
Visitation: 1-7 PM, Wednesday, February 16, 2011, Black and Clark Funeral Home-2517 E. Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas
