Obituary of Juanita Roberts Juanita Roberts affectionately known as "TENA" was born in Terrell, Texas. She received her education in the Dallas Public Schools. She met and married Tollie B. Roberts. In the early 1940's she joined the St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she was a dedicated soloist in the Sanctuary choir and also, served in the Deaconess Ministry C. Sister Roberts loved to cook and was always ready to host and cater dinner celebrations. She took many under her motherly wing and shared herself and her wisdom. Juanita leaves to cherish her memories: her nieces, Jerry Baldwin, Freddie Roby, Carolyn Williams, Margaret Gidden, Wilma Daniels, Nephews, Albert Daniels, Melvin Daniels, Timothy Roberts and Paul Williams, a brother-in-law, Henry Williams and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church-2600 South Marsalis Avenue-Dallas, Texas Visitation: 1-7PM, Friday, February 11, 2011, Black and Clark Funeral Home, 2517 E. Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75216 Interment: Carver Memorial Park-Ferris, Texas
