Obituary of Katie Peters
Katie Mae Peters, a resident of Dallas, Texas, passed away May 23, 2010.
Mrs. Peters was born in Ore City, Texas to the late Leroy and Ozella (Reece) Davis. She was a graduate of James Madison High School Class of 1963. She met and married Mr. Robert Peters and to this union they were blessed with two wonderful sons, Rodrick, and Robert, Jr.
She received her B.S. from Dallas Baptist University.
Katie was an active member of the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Her joy was working with and motivating youth. She retires from Alcatel after 35 years and began a second career of substitute teaching in D.I.S.D. To know her was to love her.

Galilee Missionary Baptist Church-4535 Vandervoort, Dallas, Texas
Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas
