John Sidney Elder was born February 7, 1934, in Dallas, Texas, to the parentage of the late Nannie Lee Elder. He accepted Christ at an early age. He had a loving spirit. He entered into eternal rest with His Lord and Savior on February 26, 2019. He is preceded in death by his brother Samuel Elder Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: sister, Ruthie McKnight and a host of other relatives and friends.
