Obituary of Pearl Arnold
Pearl Lee Powell Arnold, age 94, of Dallas, Texas died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St Paul Hospital. Mrs. Arnold was born in Athens, TX the daughter of the late Hodge and the late Riccie (Morgan) Powell. She attended the Athens public schools and Trade Schools in New York, New York. She was employed as a private duty nurse. Pearl married Cornelius M. Arnold, Sr. November 1, 1970. She was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sororiety and the Cedar Crest CME Church where she was a member of Greeters and New Members Ministries.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Black And Clark Funeral Home, 2517 E. Illinois Ave. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2009 at Cedar Crest CME Church, 1616 E. Illinois Ave., Dallas, TX with Rev. Earnest F. Williams officiating. Burial will be at D/FW National Cemetery.
