Eva Alberta Hill Timmons Sunrise: September 27, 1919 Sunset: February 14, 2019 Birthplace: Marshall, Texas Education: Marshall Public Schools Parents: Romelius and Julia Richardson Hill Husband: Miles Timmons Though she had no biological children, she was instrumental in helping raise many of her siblings’ children and treated them as if they were her own. She joined Union Baptist Church, Marshall, Texas, at an early age. She moved to Dallas, Texas, and united with Peoples Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in several ministries and was president of neighborhood circle. She would host a lovely Valentine’s Day tea each year. She remained active in the church until her health failed.
