Obituary of Damian Harris

Damian Harris Sr. was born on the 21st of March 1967 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Redell and Wilma Potts Harris Sr. He received his formal education in the Dallas Independent Schools and was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School. He accepted Christ at an early age. He united with New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. George W. Pryor. He united in holy matrimony to the love of his life the former Kelly Oquinn November 29, 2003 and to this union 2 children were born. Damian worked for Old Dominion Freight Line as a truck driver. Damian was very active and had several hobbies, he was an avid lover of the Dallas Cowboys and he loved fishing. His smile was infectious and he had a very vibrant personality. Those who were close to Damian were touched by his loving spirit. Our heavenly Father released Damian on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, sisters, Reta Rene Walton. The celebration of his life continues with his beloved wife Kelly Oguinn Harris, children, Jessica, Damian Jr, J.D., Quinton, and Kaitlyn Harris, grandchildren, Jordan, Damian III, Michael and Brooklyn Harris, siblings, Redell (Emma), Keamon (Gloria), Zevria Harris, Dean (Erica) Martin, Tyrone, Alford, Rodney (Katrina) Tilley, sister-n-laws, Terry, Denise, Mia Oguinn and Christine (Casey) Yates and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
