Obituary of Leonard Jackson

Leonard Charles Jackson, beloved husband, father and friend was called home by God on Friday March 27, 2020 after a short hospitalization. Leonard was born in Dallas, TX on April 5, 1961, but grew up in the Stop Six neighborhood of Fort Worth, TX. He attended Dunbar High School through his junior year before relocating to Dallas where he graduated. Leonard was the owner and operator of Leonard’s Wrecker Service in the DFW area since 1986. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Jackson, Sr. and brothers Joe Jackson Jr. and Albert Lee Jackson. Leonard is survived by his wife of 20 years, Bridgette S. Jackson, two amazing sons, Isaiah and Jeremiah, his mother Annie Bush and siblings Freddie Jackson (Stella), Mae Carolyn Jackson (Marlon), Barbara Ann Jackson, Calvin Jackson and Samuel Earl Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Leonard will take place with Black and Clark funeral home after the current COVID-19 shelter in place order has been lifted. The family of Leonard Jackson would like to thank all of our loving family and wonderful friends who’ve helped us through this difficult time. May God bless and keep you all.
