Mr. Taylor was my first track coach in school and a lifelong encourager. He was responsible for guiding me to become eventually a high school hurdles champion. His class and friendliness will be missed. May the great comfort only God can give Bless his family always. - Galen Ollison, Sr.

I’m so sorry to hear about Charles’s passing. Charles and I worked together at HCFA in 1980. His approachable, outgoing personality made him an encouraging friend and teacher. What can I say about Charles, except I’ve thought about him often throughout the years. He just touched my heart. RIP my friend.

On behalf of the Dallas Chapter of the Huston-Tillotson (HT) Alumni Assn, we are offering much sympathy and condolences to the Taylor family on the home-going of your loved one. Charles was an HT Alum and a long time supporter of both HT and the Dallas Chapter. I personally knew Charles from having worked in the same building as he did for years and years. I could always go to his floor and get his expertise whenever needed. Charles was known for having remained gainfully employed for many years longer that the rest of us! His dedication and commitment to his work was respected and admired by all of us HT alum who knew of him and his reputation. God blessed him with a long and fruitful life and we are thankful for him. We will let the University and the Chapter know of his passing and will keep the family in our thoughts and especially in our prayers. To God be the glory for a life well-lived.

With deepest sympathy to Mrs. Louise Taylor and family. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Charles Taylor was a great friend to me and my family. I worked with Charles at CMS (HCFA) over 25 years. When I started working with the agency we worked in the same office. He will truly be missed by many. My family and I will keep you and your family in prayers.

I started working with Mr. Taylor when I was a high school student. He was one of the first people I met when I started. He has always been such a wonderful, caring friend/co-worker. I often wondered how he was doing once he retired from the government. Mr. Taylor was my inspiration and he will always have a place in my heart. Continued prayers goes out to the entire Taylor family.
