Melvin will be remembered for his bubbly chuckles & for his overall gentle demeanor. He totally enjoyed his Cab Driving Career & took it seriously!. He loved driving people places & made multiple Airport Runs. Whenever we visited Tx, he frequently told us many interesting stories of the experiences he encountered, while transporting people around. We remember his favorite Eateries, as being both Luby's & Perkins Cafeteria Style Restaurants. He often put in special "Soul Food," requests both locally & long distance, (even as far as Washington State, LOL) In fact one of his frequent jokes with his Washington State, Niece & Nephew was to repeatedly list "soul Food," combos together, while teasing them & chuckling about it. He will be missed greatly, especially the phone calls. Now, there will be no more physical suffering instead, Melvin will be able to take on a New Heavenly body.
