Obituary 

MELVIN TILLMAN JR. was born on August 8, 1952 to the parents Melvin Tillman Sr. and Orea Hill Tillman in Shreveport, Louisiana. The family relocated to Dallas, Tx. Melvin attended the Dallas Independent School District and graduated in 1970 from South Oak Cliff. He would continue his education receiving an Associate Degree from        El Centro Jr College. He worked as a cab driver for over four decades which he really enjoyed. Melvin enjoyed attending and taking his mother to the COGIC yearly conference.  Melvin accepted Christ into his life about two weeks before he departed this life. This is truly a Homegoing Celebration. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tillman Sr, grandparents, uncles, and aunties preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories 3 brothers, Donnie Tillman(Thelma) of Lancaster, TX Willie Tillman(Adrienne) of Tacoma, WA and 1 sister Rose Marie Tillman-Johnson(Elroy III) of Frisco, TX. 5 Nephews, Donnie Tillman Jr,(Sanesia), Derrick Tillman(Tamikea), Nathan Tillman(Katherine), Elroy Johnson IV, Anthony E. Johnson. 4 Nieces, Christi Tillman, Jacynthia Tillman , Shemica McKenzie, Natalie Tillman a host of others relatives, and friends.
