Mrs. Poret was my teacher in Wilmer Hutchins school district when I was a wee child in 5th grade. I was an only child and a latch key kid and I remember calling her in the summer time and her asking "Where is your mother?" LOL. She was so kind and left an impression on me. I googled her months ago and couldn't find anything and googled her again today and saw this. I'm glad to have been her pupil.
