To the Shanklin Family.
We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Janice E Shanklin. Our personal thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family, and friends of the family during this hour of great sorrow. No there is never a welcomed time to hear about the passing of anyone in death. The reporting of news of this nature only serves as a constant reminder of how far the human family has fallen from God's original purpose. Yes, we were created to live forever, not for a mere 70 or 80 years. It is really sad to think how one-person sinful course could sale the human family into sin and death. (Roman 5:12) However God has not forgotten about us. He tells us from the scriptures, that life can be restored back to a great host of people who have died. That promise is recorded at John 5:28-29. Janice had a understanding of the scriptures. Just think that in the very near future, that she will see for herself how God applies this promise to her and to others. Until this arrangement takes place, we can use this time to learn all that we can about the resurrection blessing from God. Here is just one recorded account at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Janice, and to a great host of others. So, in closing we say to all to please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie. (Titus 1:2)
