May God be with the family. My prayers are with you. Mrs. Salone was one of the great staples of the Caillat St. Neighborhood. The few times we met Grandma Salone it was evident that she was a wonderful awesome and loved grandma. She lived a caring nurturing life and was a role model always keeping in mind what's best for the greater good. I got to meet her through my God brother the late Peter Joof who married Tiffany her grand daughter. I know deep down that she lived a life of example and has left an impression that would for ever live on...May the good Lord grant her eternal rest and may her gentle soul rest in peace...To her daughter, your mom..was an example of true Christian living and she is surely heaven bound, to Stephanie, PJ, Daniel, and Justin....please continue to live on the foundational memories that Grandma has left on you all.....God bless your family and May her soul rest in perfect peace.

As I offer mine and my family's condolence to the family allow me to share a memory of a special woman . I met Ms Salone when I enrolled in her Home Economics Class at James Madison High School , in the fall of 1966 I was a 10th grade transfer student from East Texas , I knew that first day , that she was something special and she made me others around her feel special , probably in part because of her great warm smile and strong voice . I believe , we all encounter people throughout our lives who are there not by chance but by design , they are there to help shape our lives and help us become the people we finally become ,sometimes in ways we don't know or understand until later , we find ourselves saying something that person said or remembering something they did and realize the impact she made on your life Ms Myrtle Salone was that kind of woman .
